Last May, when coming through the Canal into Lake Champlain. I bent a foil on the headsail furler by taking the mast down with my brother. Arrived in Catskill, NY to get the mast up and climbed up the mast to disconnect the headstay. I bought the replacement piece, but everything was corroded-welded. The picture is looking from the top. Wound up blocking the whole thing and bending it by hand. Went back up and looks like (close to) new.
